The broken HD Aeris model is the result of a bug in the ULGP tool.
It only affects some systems.  If the tool isn't updated before the next scheduled Bootleg release, I'll implement a workaround.
Unfortunately the fix adds another 10 minutes to the install time.

JowHoof,
What folder are you using for the mods?
From what folder are you running BFE.EXE and BOOTLEG.EXE?
What is the TEMP folder?
Don't use any system folders.  Don't run anything from desktop or documents.

I'd be willing to take the time to fix it now, if you by any means would care to tell me the process?

I honestly don't want to have to look at shredded Aeris. Haha

Does anyone know how I can get battle area detail and world map detail this good!? Is there a a selection in bootleg? I am not familiar with all the different mods, there are so many!

Hi everyone and I'd like to welcome EQ2Alyza in the Bootleg team. She has the knowledge to help those who have issues, more than I do.

We are also seeking users who have a moderate knowledge of the FF7 mechanics and can speak foreign languages. Currently help is needed for Italian and German, but we will welcome any help.

There is also a need for people that are willing to help other people, since the current members of the team (PitBrat, EQ2Alyza, Zendar and I) do not have much free time anymore, with the life going on.

If you are interested in helping, please PM me.

Did you try the 'Face palmer' option for the field texture field ?
Is 'Bootlegged' option looks better ? Does the different option change significantly the game appearance ?
Thanks a lot by advance. I play with 'Face palmer' option personally.
Don't try the Blackfan+sl1982+palmer. 'Face palmer' choice uses Omzy's texture pack is it ?

If you are just playing the game to enjoy it, then I don't think any of the options have a significant difference to one another. If you are seriously testing the mods, then you may notice slight differences. FacePalmer is still a great choice. Blackfan+sl1982+palmer still contains some of the FacePalmer field textures.

Omzy is FacePalmer. Same person.

Hi, I have a question:

I selected Mike's Flame V2 limit texture, ran it in-game, but I want to remove it.
I selected "No change" and ran bootleg again, but the limit still looks like Mike's flame.

Do I need to manually remove it, and if so, how do I do that?

Thanks.

I want to change some of the mods do i have to reinstall ff7 and bootleg to do so

You need to do a completly new install and then run the bootleg again

You are getting "No Change" mixed up with restoring the original. No change means it doesn't overwrite and install anything new, so whatever texture is installed will remain untouched. I am not at home to check right now, but I believe the limits are stored in the textures folder. If it were glitched, then you would just delete it, but in this case you need to replace it. This means you need to run Bootleg again and select a different option, aside from "No Change" and "Mike's V2" to see anything happen. To get the original limit texture, you need to reinstall the game, then select "No Change" before running Bootleg.

I just uninstalled -> reinstalled the game (2012 converted). I ran bootleg with the same settings except no change. I look at the texture/limit folder and I only see the default texture, certainly not Mike's texture.

But I still get Mike's Flame V2 when I load up my save and use a limit.

I don't understand, is the limit break change not stored in the install folder? Because I deleted the entire folder with the uninstall. So, is there any way I can manually remove Mike's Texture and restore the original? It seems like quite an oversight in Bootleg to not be able to restore it to default...

Did you delete your entire FF7 folder after you uninstalled? After uninstalling, mods (e.g textures) get leftover and it turns into a junk folder. Installing there again will just give you the same results.

I don't think it's an oversight when you can preview it before installing.
