PRP Team have always done most of the work.
I'm just here to put the resource they build to a good use .
I'm just happy the founding members of PRP is commenting on my effort.

Anyway,im fairly a bit distracted at the moment and seem to lose focus a bit.
Y'know seeing it's still holiday season and whatnot.
I was targeting 10 models per week.(more like a an experiment to see if i can commit to 10 models per week)

Guess with my level of commitment at most that can be done is 10 models per month.( If i'm being realistic here)

So with 10 sets of 10 models .That makes it about 10 months to completion(optimistically calculated)

That is assuming i didn't lose motivation by the third months.

but  i'm focussing work on 10 models(5 models left) at the moment so no use worrying about the 90 models.

On second thought, i did produce more than 10 models in 1 week if i count the models i did in the other thread Simple Battle to Field Reconstruction.

My point being ,let's just stick with the assumption that i can only work on 10 models per month.

Yeah definitely see to the bugs as well, I think those won't take TOO long.

the moment i abandon this it will be accompanied with tutorial that include every little details on how i did it from start to finish for a single model.( as a passing the torch kind of thing)

I think he means, and that's what I'd like to know too, if I have PRP installed on my game, where/how should I install dhafa's models ?
Just have to download the files and put them in a directory somewhere ?

You have to open up the char.lgp with a LGPtool program, make a new folder called "char contents" or whatever, and extract all the contents into that folder  and place the downloaded files into the folder and create a new char lgp file with the modified folder

So, I must ask for help since I'm at a loss of knowledge in the subject.

So first, I had the Ultima Version to try and mod my FF7. This modd worked, but some mods later it didn't. Then I found out about the original version.

So I obtained the original .iso version, patched with the 1.02 ff7.exe. Installed Aalis custom driver. Now I am trying to install this Mod before all others but I can't seem to get it working. I do run windows 7 so the I moved my entire default FF7 folder from the /Program File(86)/ folder to the /Programs Files/ so I could run the installer and move it back. But no matter what I try to do, the field characters look the same.

I usually like to research myself, but I've hit a road block and I need help.

Downloaded copies of the game are not supported. No one ever reads the rules. Ever.

The first one was downloaded, the second one was not. I found a cheap one for sale on ebay after I couldn't find original online.

I just tend to completely ignore the buggy and frankly useless .exe provided with this project. Use unlgp to unpack the char.lgp and world.lgp, then unpack 00.lgp and 01.lgp, replace the files from 00 and 01 to char and world respectively, then repack and use them. Don't even try using the .exe from this, unless you want to experience crashes ever two minutes.

I've been collecting models that I have found and thanks to squallff8 and all the others working on PRP and combined with my own talentless mixing of model parts I'd say I have gotten this mod to about 90% completion. There are a few models I cannot mix to even get remotely doable replacements so they would need to be made from scratch, and there are a few I made from mixing that just don't cut it. I am only doing this for the sake of trying to complete this thing, but if someone can help it would be great. Also, I may not have all the models out there so if you have any missing I would love to know.

Hey there, first off thanks for all the mod work breathing life into this old gem

I am having a problem with the PRP mod, had a scan though the forum but couldnt tell if anyone had same issue. Basically I install the game with max install, put on the 1.02 patch then the latest openGL driver.....so far it has worked fine (other than some missing sounds) but when I tried to install the PRP and then run from the Blue meteor the screen flashes black, appears to change resolution then just closes to windows without any error messages.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
