In the FAQ at the beginning of this forum, there is a problem with ATI cards where users get gridlines in the backgrounds and Aaron suggested to update the card's drivres which would solve the problem, however I'm getting this problem using a NVIDIA 8400GS mobile card with the most recent drivers which is 177.98 version.
When I enable the anisotropic filter the gridlines are not there but the NVIDIA fix does not work (the graphics seems to be the same when using software rendering instead of direct3d).
I am using the FF71.02 patch for newer NVIDIA cards.
My computer specs: core 2 duo t7500 2.2Ghz, 4GB RAM, winxp sp3, nvidia 8400gs (128mb of dedicated memory).
Thank you for any suggestion to solve this problem.
