Hi and happy New Year! Thanks for the great works here. Just a question, which tool could I use to convert the .tex images of the "xbox one" addon to png? I'm trying to port "xbox one" addon to the "Final Fantasy VII Italian ReTranslation for 7th Heaven [1.02]" and if could check the exactly buttons layout on your font file would be really helpfull. Thanks in advance ;)

happy new year! To convert tex to png I use Vincent Tim https://www.ff7catalog.com/threads/10546/ : it's a command line tool but works very well.
As the button layout is the same of reunion psx layout.. you can also download the hd addon to see the positions (the buttons are in the same position in the tex files). The buttons are in the files usfont_a_h and usfont_a_l. Probably you will need to change the button position because Italian ReTranslation for 7th Heaven is very similar to caledor port and Caledor doesn't use button in his release (2 are also removed for other character) or reencode flevel with touphscript with new button layout

updated to R06i and fixed release zip. Updating in the next few days the missing textures download links

Innanzitutto vi ringrazio per lo splendido lavoro effettuato! :)

Scrivo qui per segnalare un bug che viene introdotto applicando la New_Translation_R06i_ita_i01.
Ho effettuato tutti i passaggi indicati ed in più ho provato sia a reinstallare tutto da capo e sia a contattare DLPB per segnalare il bug che a quanto pare, con una nuova installazione, ho potuto constatare che viene introdotta con la traduzione.

Qui il link per condividervi i log + salvataggio che potranno essere utili per identificare i due errori ed al suo interno due file di immagine che mostrano sinteticamente i bug indicati

Vi condivido la risposta che mi ha fornito DLPB:
"Loading LGP:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII\The_Reunion\BASE\New_Translation\magic.lgp

That shouldn't be there.  It's not there in original base files.  Are you sure you haven't altered other files too?
I'd reinstall the steam files and then reinstall reunion and go from there one mod at a time .  I think youve installed something / removed something that's caused it
also there is no zzz.hrc in that field - so i'm thinking you replaced flevel.lgp with a custom one
custom flevel need to be placed in global or custom folders - and you need to also install the corresponding char files - or it wont work.  In this case it's looking for a model that doesnt exist"

EDIT: ho effettuato un tentativo copiando il file flevel.lgp dalla cartella New_Translation originale a quella fornita per la traduzione italiana ed i bug non si presentano, l'unico problema è che si perde la traduzione.


EDIT 2.0: ho eseguito la traduzione tramite l'installer 1.5 e settato New_Translation = 0 in options.ini e adesso sembra funzionare correttamente anche se si perdono alcune traduzioni e non mi permetterebbe di utilizzare la cartella New_translation per altre mod.
La procedura indicata nel primo thread però mi ha portato a riscontrare i bug indicati per ben 2 nuove installazioni.

Spero di aver fornito tutte le info necessarie per la risoluzione.

Errore mio nel copiare lo script modificato nel file flevel.lgp: cercava il modello 3d chiamato zzz.hrc invece del corretto zzzz.hrc

Update rilasciato (spero di aver trovato tutti gli errori)

spero di non tediarti ma ho effettuato dei test ricaricando il vecchio salvataggio che avevo condiviso (puoi scaricarlo dal link drive messo a disposizione) ma nulla, i due errori mostrati nei file di immagine, entrambi nel mercato murato, ci sono ancora di cui 1 tra questi risulta bloccante per poter avanzare con la storia (si intravedono duplici modelli di cloud nella villa di Don Corneo).
Evito di risponderti anche su Discord, ma mi metto a disposizione nel caso volessi altri dettagli in merito alle problematiche anche se credo di averti fornito tutto il necessario nello zip scaricabile dal link.

Ma hai installato l'update 1.1? Perché quegli errori e crash li ho corretti. Ho finito tutta la villa Corneo per test.
 
Nice to see this is continued to be worked on. If Anyone would like to help make Italian translations for the applications black chocobo and / or makou reactor please let me know. Now that the game is translated the tooling is next ;)

Thanks. I'm not a great translator but if no one wants to translate the tool maybe I'll try when I'll have free time
