Sorry for the necropost! I thought I'd add some relevant real world information about some of the in game textures. The stain-glasses from the church in the sector 5 slums come from a real church. If you are willing there are many real world images that you can use as references for the texture. The stain-glasses are from the Chartres Cathedral in France. They are the central three (of five) lancets in the north trancept below the rose window.
The versions in the game are flipped vertically. The one of Saint Anna appears to have the head replaced or removed. It's Jenova!!!
Saint Anna is the canonical mother of Mary, an addition made during the medieval period.
