Ff8 steam (2013) Seifer mod

Sup everybody, I’m currently working on a mod to change squall to seifer, I have changed all models of squall and weapons to Seifers, and his portrait, though he still uses squalls sound effects and renzokuken limit. Anyone know how I might change his limit and or sound effects to Seifers.
I’ve tried using doomtrain editor to change his limit to Seifers but can’t change renzokuken through it.
 
Got this all working have a playable Seifer in squalls place just need to edit chara.one file to add Seifers model to other fields and it will be finished.
 
Still not done with this, edited upto second in terms of gameplay, there is another mod for psx that me and a freind jeetkunjoe worked on a lot, he managed to swap field models of characters with Edea, raijin, fujin, also we got the battle character playable, I will release these characters with my Seifer mod for pc but if u want to play the psx version look up ff8 psx galbadia mod :)
 
It looks so cool cant wait for The trio disciplinary committee of seifer raijin and fujin and by The way i have that great galbadia mod excelent work  ;)
 
Thank u brother, all work for the field models of Edea and raijin was done by jeet I only found out the offset for them using the pc files and also the hex editing of the battle models was done by him also m, he done an incredible job  ;D

Jeets got a lot of stuff he’s doing already brother, also it’s not hard just tedious.

Hi ! Its good job, so its for PC (because the midi's sound) ? But in your comments on Youtube, there no links for upload. So it exchange only Seifer and Squall ? would it be possible to also add Raijin, Ultimecia, Wedge, Biggs and Fujin with the same editor Deling only ? Do I need to use Steam for this FF8 version ?

Hi Rufus Ashford yes its The PC version of The game The 1999 One with The 4 discs i did The exchange of squall with Seifer and then i though doing with zell and selphie exchanging with raijin and fujin but when i got almost at The end of The seed exam of dollet almost at cids Office The game crashed but yeah Im gonna try exchanging my squall with Seifer and Seifer with squall and zell with raijin selphie with fujin and exchange The real raijin with zell and real fujin with selphie its gonna be fun but yeah you dont need Steam edition of The game and its only with deling editor its Simple ;) but to The point i didnt use blender because of The Bones and also some knowledge thats why The game crashed most of time but it was a good idea for using Seifer Raijin and Fujin The disciplinare comittie xD i was just wondering how The progress is goin with Nico cherry he was developing The Seifer mod for US and as The result of my Seifer field mod it worked well using deling editor of course you need some backup like having psx emulator duckstation to progress on story and a save file editor only if you want course but sorry that my ff8 crashed its because of The characters Bones maybe i apreciate liking my mod thanks Rufus Ashford but keep In mind i only exchanged places where Seifer apears
 
If you want Seifer to use his own limit but still keep the Renzokuken combo, you'll have to change the scripting in the Limit Break, not just the ID. This is the more complicated part.
 
 :) Hi slr,  ;D I was so busy. So for upload yor mod we are mandatory to sign up to the this link ? But I have a question, we can only play with Seifer (no update anymore since the last year ?) I would also like to know if you added to Seifer the "Bloodfeast" and "Demon Slice" limits breaks to your mod as well ? Or is this impossible (location limitation on his "Fire Cross" menu?)

But instead of replacing Squall with Seifer, why not just let Seifer "activate" (like after Dollet's mission or at the beginning of disc 3 as he is?) and only add his field model everywhere ?

I know NicoChirry is currently still working on his own "Galbadia mod", but jeetkunjo4587 no longer gives any news on his V2 (I think he's working on several projects apparently). Jeet explained on Youtube, he didnt uses tools but some hacking called "Reverse Engineering" for designing his character. apparently this consists of exchanging the bones of the playable characters with those of others (the battle model and the field model). He wouldn't have used "Deling" for this (But I don't know what tool he used though). But I think he will giving some news soon https://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=26690.0. I would like to know more about all the tools he used to make his mod.

I would like to know however if with the editor "Deling" we can also trying to swap Rinoa to Ultimecia and maybe Zell with Fake President ?
The both have battle model and field model, so it would be possible ?  ;) The names of the characters can be modified I believe with the kernel/editor "Carbuncle".

For limit breaks, there is "Doomtrain" but I can't modify my saves with this editor, it never works. I must not have been able to use it correctly. It will be fun to see Ultimecia using "Great Attractor" or "Hell Judgement" as her own limit breaks. Using the "Hyne" tool is easy, but "Doomtrain" is not.

After all Ultimecia has her own " attack commands " (the enemy attack "Vacuum Wave") and the fake president also (the enemy attack "Gnaw"), his battle model can also use magic.
