TDB is a good choice.  I'm more of a WYWH person, there's just so much heart in that album.  I saw DG last year at MSG; he played an INCREDIBLE rendition of High Hopes.  I've got a pretty fucking good recording of it if you'd like.  As far as the earlier albums go, and as much as I love Syd Barrett; I'm personally of the opinion that the band wasn't really "clicking" as a cohesive whole until Saucerful.  Saucerful, to me, sounds like the perfect advancement of Syd's ideas, and it turns them into much more cohesive song structures.  That's not to say that songs like Astronomy Domine, or Chapter 24, or Bike aren't cohesive; but to me, they just sound like they're missing -SOMETHING- musically, and I can't quite put my finger on it.  I also think Atom Heart Mother is an underrated album (I also got to see DG play Fat Old Sun which took me by complete surprise).  It contains the essence of the DSOTM - The Wall era, but it still has the heart of the Syd Barrett/early David Gilmour era.  Shit...  I feel like we could probably discuss this for days.

You will soon be receiving access to all but the multichannel files in my Pink Floyd collection.  Have fun, you've got a good 92 GB of content headed your way.

This was no longer the top topic, so I'm double posting in order to bump, in my effort to artificially sticky it.

I wasn't joking when I said I was going to artificially sticky this.
