I'm trying to port my ff7 steam translation into psx and psp eboot version. I saw steam eng translation into ps1 psp eboot but my translation not english, french or spanish etc so please dont say it already has those languages. How can i port these translation into ps1-psp eboot ff7? Or how i create xdelta patch for my tnanslation to add into ff7 ps1 version? @ProjectXsend how did you this?

I tried it just now but every time I edit that part gives me error.

I guess I should've ignored the error back then since I finally fixed the "Attack while it's tail's up!" issue.

Taking advantage of your post, I come to instruct you things I discovered:

MassIsoUpdate: I don't know if using this program to import files larger than the original in an iso would cause bugs when playing on the real console.
Makou Reactor: When using the program to use in relation to the PSX / PS1, be careful when doing a lot of editing and saving the iso. Never do that. Always export the Field.dat file and test if it is bigger than the original, then yes, you use the MassIsoUpdate program at your own risk of causing a bug in the iso playing on the real console.

If you have any success playing the iso, having used MassIsoUpdate to import Fields.dat files larger than the original and not causing any bugs, none at all, let me know in the comments or via PM, why it helps me and helps several people.

I'm asking this, because at the moment I don't have a PS1 at home to test my iso with files larger than the original.
Sorry for the late reply. I'll be glad to say that sometimes MassIsoUpdate works, sometimes it doesn't. Just to be safe, I decided to use CDMage and I need to import the .DAT files one by one which took me 35+ minutes for 1 disc (787 items total). (Alt+Shift+F > select file > Enter > (Enter again if asking to overwrite) > Enter to click OK > Down Arrow > repeat)

Also I'm experimenting "ff7tools" by cebix and it really helped me a lot when extracting and editing the MENU files. My only issue is that I cannot extract the FIELD that I used to edit and the BATTLE.X which contains the "FF7 Damage Break by ARM" so I can fix the "Off course! No, way!". Extracting the files worked for Clean ISO, Final Proofreading VII, and Shinra Archaeology Cut.
