Sadly it's hard to make anything good on a netbook (PITA to draw fast several lines in PS, moving vertices in blender, etc...), therefore all the good stuff you'll see starting from september^^
 
Now PS became completely buggy when painting in hi-res, so here is something low-res:

How does this stack against pyrozen's textures? Didn't he do the whole world map already? Cause.. if these are higher res. i'm down for it! :D

Pyrozen's are done in a different style so they don't match well. Towns and underwater are left to be done=)

UPD: A fluent flame is done^^

You're such a tease, I keep coming back hoping that there is an update to the world map enhancement but it's always some new thing, and that thing gets me interested, then later I come back and it's something else that's cool. I don't know what the point of this post is other than everything I've seen so far is awesome.

i may have blazed the trail, but felix came behind me and laid down an 8 lane superhighway! TBH i quit using mine as soon as he released his....so much time wasted lol. Can't wait until some of these spell effects start coming out, i've been waiting forever for someone to try and tackle them.

I wish someone would redo that raggedy yellow arrow.
It's the ugliest thing in all of those beautiful screenshots!
 
The arrow is mostly fine, it merely needs some antialiasing. The problem is, AA breaks this game pretty bad.
 
Just a matter of time until Square Enix contacts FeliX to join the team to make FFXV lol
