Turn compress textures off too felix :P  will look better.  You should definitely see a difference with the font.

The texture compression is turned off, it's because of the low resolution of my screen
 
More great spell effects, you planning on doing them all?

If so cant wait for you to work your magic on the Quake/Demi lines of spells

Edit: For the Demi spells i think it would look awesome if they took some inspiration from the Gravitation skillchain from FFXI.

It would be PITA to do that, cause I'm still learnin how to do FX... but who knows....
 
Yeah i figured it would be extremely hard if not impossible to do something looking like it, just thought you could take a little inspiration from it  :-P
 
Whoa man VERY impressive, didnt expect that anything looking that good would be possible.

And so quickly too.

So how long before you have enough retextured spell effects to warrant a release?
 
Simply amazed how this changes the field and battle looks!
I have a quick question though apologize if its been ask on this but I have no issues with installing but I do have the Menu Overhaul Project installed but, Ive been trying to make both work at the same time but if i set the modpath to avalanche/DK it bypasses the battle and field but the menu works. If I leave it on just avalanche, field and battle works but the menu and the text are glitched. I'm new to all this but i usually try to figure it out on my own or reading in the topic.

Just copy to DK the battle and worldmap textures

Oh FeliX you have a tutorial anywhere outlining what programs and processes etc you use?

I wouldnt mind trying my hand at maybe some of the enemy skills, but wouldnt know where to start.

Nope, if I want to do something particular I try to find a tutorial on a similar object/effect/material on inet, and then according the tutorial I use corresponding programs - Photoshop, GIMP, Blender, 3dsmax, AfterEffects, etc..
 
hmmm inet? just google searched and it gave me a load of different stuff none of which is related from what i can tell
