SOLVED: Can I use MP3 / custom battle music?

The mods that are out there are great and have revived the game for me! I was just wondering if custom battle music would be possible. I can use highwind but i noticed that theyre midis, which limits things considerably. there are some great remixes out there but theyre mp3s. Is there any routes here or is it not feasible?

The program allows you to add different music files and play them in game. The program comes with the PSX music and a remixed set of the original music. You can add others if you wish.
