In fact, they both would have been wrong in that sentence. Unless you're listing things, both sides of a comma have to be a full clause. You can't put the subject on one side of a comma and the predicate on the other side.I was debating between that or a Semicolon; seems I chose wrong.Comma splice.The first thing people usually learn about this forum, is that we have an inability to stay on topic.
Your semicolon in this next post was used correctly, though. Only mistake is that it shouldn't have been capitalized. 8)
