This mod must be unpacked using latest zzzDeArchive program OR used with Maki's DEMASTER Tool

This is for the MAIN mod and the FONTS, which includes the Menu, UI, Icons, etc. but only contains one alternate Gradient.

There is an extra file located in the download known as 'hitech' that will give a more updated look, with a hi-tech gradient and gunblade icon instead of the finger-pointer

Is a graphical overhaul which includes:

- New Title Screen (Higher Resolution)
- Optional Alternate Menu Gradient (Comes with alternate 'seedreborn-ui-hitech_rem_v1.0' file that can be used)
- NEW UI Font, (NOT Game Font) as well as various menu objects modified.  (SeeD, Time, Play, Disc, Fast/Slow, etc.)
- NEW Battle/Menu Icons and Text! (Target, Miss, Battle Numbers, Renzokuken indicators, etc.)
- NEW Optional Gunblade Cursor (Comes with alternate 'hitech' file)
- NEW Updated and colored Item Icons! (by MCINDUS)
- NEW colored Custom Icons for Status and Elemental Magic! (by MCINDUS)
- NEW Custom Icons for Junction Stats instead of old TEXT abbreviations! (HP, Str, Vit, Mag, Spr, Spd, Eva, Hit, Luck) (by MCINDUS)

Looks great, I swapped out the menu gradient to your Blue and my border. Your file also helped me realise how I was packing the files wrong.  :-D

for people who are having trouble writing the file into the program zzzDeAarchive u can open Ur map drag and drop the mod and the main into the windows dos window and it will create the path automatically

Hello! I am engaged in porting translation of Final Fantasy VIII from 2013 Steam version to 2019 Remaster version. I can port texts, but I do not know how to change the width of characters in the font. Editing sysfnt.tdw do not give a result in Remaster. Mcindus or anybody else can you help me?

I managed to get the mod installed but i don't see nothing changed,the Hud is not blue and i don't have the Gunblade icon,can anyone help?

Try using the 1.6.5 release of the zzzDeArchiver!  My directions follow that exactly. Had the same issue with someone else last night.  I will try to troubleshoot the new zzzDeArchive program and see what the issue might be.
 
I managed to get working with ZZZ 1.6.5 big thanks for this mod man you are awesome.

The issue is the steps you list in your included instructions for zzzDeArchive are no longer correct. After pushing 3, it first asks for the path to the original zzz file, followed by the mod zzz file. This is reverse of what your instructions for 1.6.5 say. I was having the same problem until I actually took the time to read what was being shown in the command window.
 
Sorry about that I changed the order of merge to accept multiple mods. New version has a new gui. It might be easier to use.

The idea is the files with data you want to replace should go first and the holds true for all the mods you add as well. If you have mods, that replace some of the same files. The ones that are added later will overwrite the ones earlier.

So by putting main.zzz at the end you are basically coping main.zzz as it'll override all the mods. :P

You have to put the mod path first, not the main.zzz path. the SECOND file you put in is the main.zzz
google translate of error: given path format is not supported
So looking at your path you put the path to a zzz file and put a / then the other one. That's why it didn't work.

You had to put the path to main.zzz push enter, then the path to the mod and push enter.

Oh I see you got it working. Well if anyone was wondering what the error was. :P

I think I got it so it won't crash out on that error anymore. In the next release (>=0.1.7.5) if this happens again it'll show/log the error and in the console just ask again for input.

thanks :D , i give a look at the folders, and actually there are the icons from the ps4 version, so at this point a mod for the buttons icons would only require to switch the respective files with the icons so the game will  use the ones from the ps4 version :D
