Information -Part1-

-New synergy moves with party memeber available.
-Skill trees as a new element of character growth available. Also, unlock synergy abilities through the skill trees.
-New Materia with new abilities available..
-Red XIII has “revenge gauge” mechanic. His revenge gauge charges when he guards against enemy attacks, and he can spend that charge to use various abilities once the gauge is filled.
-Red XIII, Yuffie, Cait Sith playable. Vincent and Cid most likely will only function as Guest and be available only in Part 3.
-Alexander, Odin, Kujata reveal, there will be more summons as well as new not previously in OG.
-Many minigames can be experienced in the main story, others as part of the side stories available.
-Players will first visit the Gold Saucer in the middle section of the game but are then free to come back to it at any time they like.
-Re-created the massive Final Fantasy VII world map with each area look and feel quite diverse. On top of that, we designed chocobos unique to each region that have their own abilities (e.g. mountain chocobos that can climb sheer cliffs and sky chocobos that can fly etc.), so players will need to utilize their chocobos to fully explore each area.
-It will also be possible to return to any of the regions in the world even after the main quest moves on from that area, so you don’t have to worry about leaving things behind or unfinished.
-Final Fantasy VII remake project will be a trilogy and that each entry will be a standalone game in its own right. Because of this, each game’s balancing is done independently and a player’s levels and abilities will not carry over from one game to the next. However, we have created some special bonuses for fans who played the previous game, allowing them to start with a little something extra.
-Side Content is double the lenght than the main story, nearly 100 hours of gameplay.
-No carry over system from the first game, but materia/gil bonus if you played intergrade.
-Recap of the game will be provided.
-Gold Saucer Date still there.
-No Wutai.
-Locations depicted in this title extend up to “The Forgotten Capital,” where the greatest fate of Final Fantasy VII awaits you.
-Chocobo, Mountain Chocobo, Sky Chocobo, Buggy, Wheelie.
-G-BIKE, Chocobo Races, 3D Brawler.

-Sephiroth playable in the Nibel flashback confirmed
-Mr Dolphin confirmed
-You meet Yuffie at Lower Junon
-You can set up the party yourself, though it's only 3 people and the other 2 watch from the sideline. It's unsure if you can swap them in at the moment.
-Battles with timer while exploring the world (like in chapter 6 before Choco Mog materia)
-Following chocobo chicks to discover fast travel points
-You can find feathers/plumes to upgrade your Chocobo armor
-You can find materials used for crafting
-Micro objectives for a bit of experience
-It's a seamless unique map, unlockable step-by-step as you progress story, you can return in the already visited areas
-Characters can swim
-Characters can swim on top of Chocobo too
-Vincent & Cid not playable, they'll be Guest character as Red was in Remake
-No Chocobo breeding
-Tiny Bronco session confirmed
-New materia containing multiple elements
-New card game called "Queens's Blood" which even has a story bound to it
-Many characters and details added to Rebirth that weren't featured in the original FFVII
-Added new affection system for Gold Saucer Dating scene
-Chadley is back
-Antennas are there for Chadley to explore the world and allow us to see nearby activities
-Kalm looks super great
-Piano Music Rhythm Mini Game
-Mog Mini Game
-Game still does have chapters but you're always able to visit all played you visited so far
-There is one specific area (probably Gold Saucer or Costa del Sol) where you can switch outfits as you please

Our Reality

  • Bugenhagen is blind and moving on a big materia confirmed
  • Cid does have a shuttle service and doesn't smoke (so far)
  • Mr. Coates is now named Solemn Gus
  • Madam M is at Gold Saucer (or Cargo?)
  • Dyne reveal
  • Dancebattle with Dio probably
  • Whispers flying behind where Aerith is supposed to die (black feathers)
  • Doctor Sheiran (who healed Tifa) does research on hooded Plebs to find a cure for their "illness"
  • Vincent Face reveal
  • Titan, Phoenix and Bahamut Arisen (Neo Bahamut) showed
  • Relationships and bonding play a huge part
  • Gold Saucer Date and theatre (Loveless) Script is based on the bonds
  • You can date all characters from OG (Aerith, Tifa, Barret, Yuffie) so far
