If i don't skip videos (logo eidos at start, or the first movie, or after entering names when cloud is look at the reactor) i got this

I copy all the fold final fantasy VII in C and it works ! thx all for your help and your time
The only pb is i have no sound (get an error write in red of the sound when could jump out of the train) i will search for this now

Yuck, wrong thing to do. The Game Converter has already registered the movie path to be in C:\Games\SteamApps\common\Final Fantasy VII\data\movies, so moving it out of there will screw things up. You have two options (choose one, not both):

1. Keep the game in C:\Games\SteamApps\common\Final Fantasy VII and configure your Workshop -> Settings correctly...

  • Library Location: C:\Games\SteamApps\common\Final Fantasy VII\mods\7th Heaven
  • FF7 Exe: C:\Games\SteamApps\common\Final Fantasy VII\ff7.exe
  • Aali Modpath: C:\Games\SteamApps\common\Final Fantasy VII\mods\Textures
  • Movie Path: C:\Games\SteamApps\common\Final Fantasy VII\data\movies

If this requires you to copy the game back or reinstall completely, I don't know. This has honestly been such a mess that I wouldn't trust anything but a fresh start at this point.

2. Run the Game Converter and choose to unpatch (U). Then run it again and it should recognize the game in this new location you have it. After it's done patching, set up Workshop -> Settings to the correct paths.


If i desactivate the movie mod it works, but texture field are bad and i have a glytch error :

That's the mod working with Aali's Driver. We can't turn those messages off, but they're nothing to worry about. They will only appear once and never again whenever you revisit an area with that kind of message.

Same error when i try to launch ff7 config, try to unstal and reinstal 3 times and got the same pb
This ff7 steam is a pain to mod !
 
When i go in regedit can t find final fantasy vii folder, maybe that s why i get this error? ? Tried to press f5 nothing change
 
Fixed, i unstall all, using the remove keys, instal ff7 in a new folder (i called it Jeux), after give the administrator access in propriety for 7th game converter (i think that was the problem) and follow 7th heaven tutorial. All work perfectly i finaly got the same as this :

Excellent. There was no other help I could give because I saw it as a bad install on your part. Good to see you figured it out :)

Please be on the lookout for an update to the 7H Catalog soon. I'll be switching over the file format of the downloads, and it will require that you Uninstall all your mods and download the new format. This will also include updates to New Threat in the Gameplay - Difficulty and Story category.
 
Thx for this information, unistall and download an other time is not a problem, but do you know when this upadate coming? Other question, i start a new playthough, can i continue it or have i to wait updates for start a new one?
 
Oh and i suggest to add in the tuto 7h heaven that give administrator access in 7h game converter in propriety is very important ;)

1 to 2 weeks I hope. I just need to find time between my busy schedule at work.

THANKS SO MUCH!

I was stuck for a few hours trying to work out what I'd done wrong but this was the answer. Something as simple as running that in administrator mode.

I love people like you that post on forums how they solved their problems.

I literally just made an account only to say this.
 
Hi, I've set up 7th heaven with everything correct everything worked fine until my computer shut down and now I'm getting insert disk 1 2 or 3 would anyone happen to know how to fix this error?

You need to check your drive letter that's set for FF7DISC1. Either the ISO isn't mounted anymore, or you don't have the drive renamed to FF7DISC1.
 
I've checked that, that doesn't seem to be it, what I'm gonna do is start the whole process again, what I didn't notice is when I converted the game I didn't get the option to put to system or non system folder it just did it unless that's because i installed steam altogether to a different folder not in program files im not sure, it did work for a short time though so I don't know if it is anythin to do with that

Hello again I'm getting a bleep when I hit launch game now and it's not launching I've checked the settings and everything's right and the open gl driver configuration but it's still not working.
