A bug in FF8

Dont know if you knew this already but since I didnt find this from anywhere in the web I'll post it in here too.
In the end of the disc 2 after the scene in Trabia garden u should find the orphanage and Galbadia Garden. Sometimes u cant start battle with the Galbadia Garden. This happens if you have more than 10 same cards. Dont know why but it just happens. Not 100% sure about that 10 but it should be it, or 9, didnt test it.

Never even heard of this .....   and I have like 50 cards when I went through there.  Sure its card-related?  Sure you completed the Trabia scene correctly?
 
No, I think he means you have 10 cards of the same monster or person.

Meaning, the bug'll be activated when you try to enter the Garden Battle scene and you happen to have 10 Bite Bug cards.
 
Hmm that's weird because usually before I end Disc2 I'll have probably 20-30++ cards of the same kind. Interesting find though. Time for me to re-play that part again........  8)

Edit - I've played through that part. I have 10 funguar cards, 17 cactuar cards and 10 gerogero cards and I can still battle with G-Garden.

:wink:  it's quite easy to miss an important detail when you go to find a fight with G-Garden.  Odds are that you missed something or other.
