I noticed that akari was showing up as a guest as well, so it may be just an error.

Yeah, considering that he still seems to idle on the IRC-channel (probably sleeping, considering the time), I doubt he has disappeared. ;D

And yeah, the database fondling had some consequences - for starters my PM inbox was emptied. Although the PMs still existed, it just refused to show them. This was quickly fixed however - the benefits of having a hotline to the forum owner.

it told me my account was 'marked for deletion' when i tried to login, luckily there was a box to activate it again. Thats probably whats going on with him.
