Maybe I'm just too damn old... but I have heard of it even if I don't know what it is..........

Um if you get all the al bhed book thingies and get to the end of the game!And start a new game.For every letter you find the al bhed say it in english!I know because I found them all!!!!
 
Thanks for the info, but I think most people knew that already.... also try not to dredge up subjects that haven't been posted to in ages....

Eh. It appears to be little more than a standard substitution cypher anyway, not a seperate language.
 
I have a program that translates Al Bhed to English and vise versa...I think it did some other languages too (FF Languages not foreign languages)...I'll look for it if anyone's interested in it...it even gives the pronunciation of the language!!!
