I am like this in Final Fantasy XIII but not in VII. In VII I don't need to be because I am made of money. Seriously, it's too easy to get lots of gil.
 
I am just like that in FFIV, FFVI, and FFXII.  Not FFII or FFV, because I power-train, not FFI or FFVII, because I always seem to have enough money, not FFX, because nothing is worth buying, and not FFIII, because that game is so hard that I just gave up and have yet to attempt it again :D

VG Cats is awesome.  I just love how Sephiroth is depicted in that strip ;D

Really?  The last battle of the game is where I go all out.  I rarely use items throughout the main game, but in the last battle, I use everything that's even remotely useful.

Yeah this is me. I don't think I used a single megapotion, megalixir, or elixir in FFX.

Likewise. Winning by item use always feels illegitimate somehow, as though I'm not able to defeat the Big Bad Evil self-sufficiently.
 
I'm such a Scrooge that I may as well never have items; I'm always saving them up but never actually use them. I'm a little OCD about things like items and ammo in video games, which might be one of the reasons I was bad at games like Resident Evil.
 
I am the total opposite of this. I use items like crazy... when necessary. Hell, once I get W-item, i multiply my elixirs to 99, then I go waste them on enemies like the Magic Pot. :D

I do try to save ethers early on in games, however. Don't know why, I just do.
 
I for one sell many of my ethers in FFIX if I need to. I never use this kind of items in FFXII except for a really hard boss though.
