AT WITTS END with ff7 mod cannot seem to get bootloader to play game

I apologize if i am not making this topic correctly or in the correct area.

I have been trying to get ff7 to work correctly with the mod package this forum provided, for my youtube channel.

I have every step done except when i try to play the game via Bootloader i get this message

please Insert FF7 game disk 1, 2 or 3 and try again.

Now i bought this game from the square-enix site so there is no disks.

when i try to configure  bootloader i get this message

if i click continue it'll load the configure screen just fine but if i make any changes i get another error message that says

if i make any changes and try to exit bootloader wont exit, the screen for if i want to save comes up and if i click yes it will not exit, it'll only exit if i click no removing all changes to bootloader.

i am trying to run on a windows 7 desktop

the program was not installed on program files or on desktop

i have all firewall turned off, virus protection removed, do i need the actual game disks to play? and if so how can i then change the cd rom drive if bootloader error message wont allow me too?

please help me ill even shout out this forum on my youtube channel if anyone can help me i am not too computer savy so please bare with me.

Did you try to manually open ff7.exe in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Square Enix\FINAL FANTASY VII

If it works close it and start bootloader again it should work now.
 
If that didn't also work maybe try downloading the small kb fake iso of the ffvii disk and just simply mount one of em with a mounting software like Virtual Clone drive
You probably converted it to the 1998 version so mounting cd's would still be necessary
