Seconded, that's a great anime. There aren't so many episodes for now, but it didn't disappointed me yet ^^
I fear a bit when the "explanation time" will come, but if the author knows where he goes, it may become one damn good story (plus the animation is neat).

Funanimation release the anime freely on streaming when the episodes come out, by the way.

Did I travel back in time or something? Shingeki finished airing a while ago.
I wouldn't exactly call anything in the show "Great animation" considering how many slideshows there are in it. Heck, the animation being downright abyssmal in places was a running joke when it actually aired.

Better than season 1 of DBZ. They just craftily made 6 pictures look like an animated episode.

idk dude, it looks pretty good to me?

If you talk about animation quality you have to consider the whole show, not just that part.

The animation in this show is irritating for how utterly inconsistent it is. Sometimes it's stellar, and sometimes it's awful.

Welcome to a lot of animated shows, they either reuse scenes from earlier episodes, reduce the number of frames in a scene or have a different part of their team work on something major making a noticeable change in quality or art style.

It's the curse of traditional animation since it takes so long to produce, shows done with Flash tend to keep templates due to the simplicity of the software being used and CG based stuff have a lot of the assets done from Day 1 and are often churned out quickly.

There is a reason AoT is jokingly known as the show that kills animation studios
If you count every studio that was somehow working on the animation you'll arrive at somewhere over 20 or 30

What would you consider consistently solid animation in a series, Tenko?

It is a lot easier I think to come across traditionally animated movies with consistent top notch animation than it is with a series.

consistenly solid? Wizard Barristers that's airing right now comes to mind.
Other than that I would have to go and look at my archive because while it's something I notice it's not something I memorize.

When shows get hyped up this much I tend to be disappointed. Attack oT is no exception.
It's far from being bad, but a bit overrated imo.

From the perspective of someone who watches a lot of anime's like Titan, Miyazaki stuff, Gundam etc., I can say with a completely unbiased opinion that DBZ is in fact the greatest anime of all time. This is not referring to the animation aspect of course, because DBZ is old.

I need to report it got almost 600 views in three days on Justin.tv...

As far as the story is concerned... it started out well but the last episodes were whatever...

For anyone that didn't know, there's a fan made game done in Unity that's pretty fun, here's the guys at Node(Basically Corridor Digital and FreddieW combined) playing it intersecting their gameplay with matching clips from the show.
