Black Chocobo Warp Location

I've managed to work this so I get all the stats and features I want, but I still can't figure out the location piece. I really want to warp right to Rocket Village, but no matter what I do, I start on the platform.

Any suggestions? Am I missing something?
 
Are you suggesting you want to start the game in Rocket Village instead of the Reactor 1 platform?
 
Be sure to check the "Save Location Changes" checkbox on the location Tab.
