Can't find disc one of my PSX version so I loaded up the PC version, installed fine. Config says that 8-bit paletted textures failed check, and when I try to start the game it just goes black and... does nothing. No sound no nothing. In the last three hours I've found plenty of fixes for the 8-bit issue for NVidia cards but I have an ATI card. (Radeon 4800 Series).
Running in vista, tried every compatibility mode I could find through properties, tried lowering my card as far as I could AND compatibility, even tried a miniprogram that fixed the NVidia issue.
The closest I've gotten is when I lowered my card and the game's performance as far as I could with all compatibility under software render, it dropped back out of the game and brought the config back up. Any ideas guys?
