It's either a bug with the registry keys or the kernels from Menu Overhaul. The MO kernels are my mistake, and they are taken out already in the next Catalog update.
That is the thing with scene to kernel you need to make sure the scene is synced to the right one. So for compatibility modders need to synce to other possible kernel bins and set up and option to allow for that certain one. Of course the user can do this manually. This is one of the things I plan to cover in my modding guide tutorial series on youtube.
