Can't launch FF7 with 7th heaven

My steam is a french version.
If i desintall my FF7 french version from steam, and then reinstall ff7 through steam by having selected english language in properties, you think it will be ok ?
Or i need to do something else ?

I see that we can fullscreen through 7th nice.

I just follow https://www.ff7catalog.com/threads/10634/ and it's perfect now  :)
But if you have anything else to improve my re-experience of FF7 don't hesitate ;)

And again, thanks to everybody for helping me   ;D ;D ;D

I also have FF8 original CD, i'll do the same.
Havent looking for mods yet, if somebody knows and have some links don't hesitate too ;)

I'm back because of command control now...

When i custom command control through the game, both keyboard and joypad are reboot when i leave.

I checked in 7th if there is something to custom controller but i found nothing to help me.

I find an input file in FF7 folder but it contains this :
G   O   I   Q   N   œ   R   S   J           L   H   M   P   K      È   Ð   Ë   Í      ß   ë   í   ó   ô   ï   ð   î   ì   ë   í   ñ           ò   ã   æ   ä   å   ì   ã   ä   å   æ       à       
And i don't understand it...

Any idea ?
 
if you dont like ntfs, then exfat doesnt have the 4 gig file limit. :)
 
7H 2.2 supports the French installed version, and has better controls management (Settings>Controls). I'd wait though because I'm probably going to release 2.2 within a couple of days. On 2.0, you can manage your controls in Settings>Game Launcher>Controls by creating a preset or importing the one you're using in game. 7H will apply your preset on game launch.

Great for 2.2 so nice :)
In 2.2, dialogues are those of origin ? Because the French dialogues were probably quite bad.
 
Yes, it is whatever comes with the standard install of that language. 7H isn't changing the files/translations, it is only essentially renaming different language files to their English counterparts so the English exe can find them. IIRC the original French translation is based off of the already terrible English translation.
 
Sorry, I haven't logged on here for awhile. Yes, you can create translations via mods for 7H. There is an excellent Spanish one being worked on now as well as a complete Italian one (and technically an English one).
