Ok is there any way to filter it so that no more people registering can be named Cloud.  FFS there's like 7 new ones in the past week.   

While we're at it, maybe go ahead and take out Sephiroth too.   The lack of originality makes me want to hit puppies...  with kittens
 
indeed, a few of us HAVE indeed come up with original names (on the internet, only 3 people have ever stolen my name :P)

I name myself cloud because I just fricking love him!! He is a legend! He will never die!!!

You shouldnt see it as a bad thing its just shows ya that how much ppl love him/ff7.  :-D

Is there some rule that states that naming oneself "Cloud" or similiar is against the rules? If not I keep it.

I'm bad at nicknames!!!  ;)
 
Yeah I read that post back when I first signed up.  My point being, Cloud100, you have no individuality.  Even if you were to get an avatar you would be lost in the sea of other "Clouds".  It's nearly impossible to keep tabs on which Cloud is which, you may as well all be the same person.  And the same goes for the countless "Sephiroths" that used to be here.

There's too many, and each "Cloud's" post just gets muddled up with the rest of them.   If everyone wants to be named Cloud, fine.  It's just annoying talking to Cloud1, Cloud5000, xxcloudxx, supercloud, cloud+cloud, and LolomgCloud.

Actually, I've tried to change my name twice in the last month. The first time it changed back in about 30 minutes for no reason, and the second time I just couldn't come up with anything. Please, please for the love of God, somebody help me come up with an online alias that doesn't include "Cloud" in it!
The only reason I'd hesitate to change my name is that I've been called cloud on the internet since I made my first account all that time ago on that random forum. But I'd really like some individuality, especially on this board that's pretty much dedicated to FF7.

I think you're well known enough to get away with being called Cloud ;D

Also, "NeoCloudstrife" isn't as nondescript and miscellaneous as "Cloud" or "Cloud 165" or Cloud >9000".

Agreed, but I'm also not sure if you're being sarcastic about wanting to change it.  If so, just go on a website with a captcha and keep refreshing until something stands out.

I loves my name.

it's mine and i never have any problem coming up with usernames for anything from websites to xbox.
 
Hey Neo, what's your full IRL name? Mayhaps we can come up with something from that. For instance, my name is "Yama Habib"

"Habib" in Arabic means "lover"
"Yama" in Japanese means "mountain" (note my sig)

so I could change my username to something like "Mt. Lover" or "MountLover" or "Lover's Mountain".
