Compressing kernel2

Hi everyone. Im trying to edit weapon and armor descriptions using wallmarket program. The only problem is im seeing that kernel2 can only fit so much data and it fills up extremely fast.

I searched the site for solutions and found one something about compressing kernel2 but it was way beyond my expertise. https://www.ff7catalog.com/threads/11734/

Can someone either explain this method to me step by step in the most basic and simple way possible (explain it like im dumb) or maybe provide an alternate solution? Id really like accurate descriptions to the text changes Im making in walmarket. Thanks for the help.
