I would have posted this in archerxtreme's thread but Tetris has gained a place for it's own over all these years!
Which version of Tetris do you prefer to play?I would have posted this in archerxtreme's thread but Tetris has gained a place for it's own over all these years!
I agree. I had the pleasure of seeing a Coin-Op Tetris (the original too! :-D) at an arcade in Daytona Beach, Florida that was located underneath a human sling shot ride. Unfortunately, it was out of order.Strange though it might sound I prefer playing the retro coin ops version with the joystick... while listening the glinky sound of the coin going down ;D
There's an establishment in my corner of the globe known as "Barcade" which is exactly what it sounds like; a bar, and an arcade. All games are 25¢ a piece, and amongst them is a Tetris machine. They refuse any games beyond 1989 (they turned down both Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter II). They keep everything in awesome condition, and serve awesome beer, and last time I was there, I got #4 on the Tetris Machine.I agree.
