Americans shouldn't cosplay is a very good websites to compare Asian and American cosplaying. It makes me giggle ^^

Hahaha! That's so hilarious! And there's a fat joke involved. That's mean, I'm from the U.S and I'm not fat!  :-D
 
Hello everyone. Sorry for the absence, have been somewhat busy with having so called life.

Anyway, I'm looking for a certain cosplay photo - for a reference for possible future photographic projects - and I figured that someone else besides me must have seen it as well. Google image search is failing very badly.

It's a photo of a cosplayer wearing massive set of (probably) articulated wings. Talking about something like 15 to 20 feet wingspan massive. IIRC, they weren't angel wings since they weren't white, but they were extremely impressive, with very realistic looking feathers (unlike most cosplay wings...). I think the cosplayer in that photo was kneeling on one knee. I don't even recall whether the person was male or female...

Obviously they were hand made, and I think I might have found a person who'd be able and willing to make a set for me. I'm more than a little tempted to use them for a photoshoot... maybe. Eventually. Perhaps. :-D

Anyone recall seeing such a photo?

unrelated necro ftw! I long ago promised i'd post updates on my cosplay when i got around to it, and ... well here ya go ! started on the shoulder belt thing for dissidia cloud, i know I have it on the wrong side, but my webcam mirrored it cuz its dumb.

odd thing was i didn't even know what cosplaying was O___________O. is this some anime thing?
too bad i don't look like any of the characters though.... except maybe jecht, though i'd still need like a year to get all the jecht muscles.
 
LOL, we had a friend in our dissidia group who was gonna cosplay Jecht. He bailed for the same reason: didn't have enough time to get Jecht muscles. :P And also cuz he didn't have enough money to do it or something... which is dumb cuz he just needs to wear pants and a bandanna. >.>

lol, yeah it takes a long time. i'm workin on it =/. Doing an HST program atm, so hopefully it'll be a bit faster. you know now that i think of it, i actually have a squall griever pendant irl. wouldn't make a bad cosplay thing. though i didn't buy it for the FF value. i got it cause i needed a chain and the dissidia one had a really nice design. =P
