Been through numerous threads with similar issues, but no replies or not my same situation. Hopefully someone can help me out.
Just purchased FF7 through steam on my 15" Surface Book 2. Can play the game normally. I have saved games in all 10 slots.
Launching from Final Heaven starts the Eidos and Squaresoft movies both cropped to the upper left corner. Pressing a key at the title screen causes the crash.
Also, it seems the game is running on the integrated GPU and not my NVIDIA Ge Force GTX 1060.
