I notice that we now count spiders amongst "users online"...

Yeah its actually a pretty common feature amongst forum software...You gotta figure though the old forum software was last updated in 2000ish so it WAS advanced at the time, but all and all I like SMF but the moderation features were too easily circumvented. Hence:Hermoor
 
One wonders whether the new software will prevent people using proxies from signing up. I can think of a certain person who will cry if it does... ;D
 
Most likely there exists a mod already for SMF to ban proxies, But that is only half the problem I wont get into it now just be glad a certain someone isn't as smart as he thinks he is.
