Dificulty mods

Hy there.

When I select the hardcore mod (hardcore + the reunion) in difficulty and story mod, nothing seems to happen. Every other mod selected seems to be working fine.
Am I supposed to install the hardcore mod manually?

Hardcore + Reunion works fine on my end. What's your load order? Is your Workshop -> Settings -> FF7 Exe set to ...\ff7_bc.exe?

I'm assuming that this is gjoerulv's "Hardcore" mod, right?

Move Gameplay above The Reunion. All my testing is done with Miscellaneous mods' loaded first, then alphabetically thereafter starting with Animations.
