As in, is anyone working on it?
If it's like FF9 this is good. DVD's have a nice advantage of having no special modes for reading and no special tracks. It's all just data. The problem comes in reading the actual data (going through the OS) but it's less of a hassle in the long run.Well it should be possible to support FFX/FFX-2, except it'll take longer. The main data track is hidden from view, but you can still read the files off of it, it's basically like Final Fantasy 9 with it's IMG file containing the data. I guess the main problem would lie in identifying all of the files, I think the last time I checked FFX had around 9000.
It's been out since the 15th in the USDOC though is not available in the US yet I don't know about Japan.

It might be where you live in the US. I know I first saw it in my local Wal-Mart on the 17th for $50; And I live in the state full of amish. If it has I haven't seen it (since I've been looking for it). It's been out since the 15th in the US
