On the note of costumes, they redressed cloud... he looks rather silly now if you ask me (i know they're basing it more on his amano art, moreso than last time, it just looks odd to me)

I really think, for consistency with more recent games, cloud needs to wear something with more pieces (at least 15) that still fails to cover most of his torso. You know, like all the costumes in X and XII.
 
I think he looks silly too, I actually really, really hate that costume.
 
Please tell me that if thats clouds new attire they will still have his original soldier outfit at least as an unlock. On the positive side, saw the trailer and Tifa looks awesome, and clouds meteor rain is actually like the real thing now that he jumps in the air.

I wonder what they are going to introduce into the fighting system, hopefully we get a lot more moves this time around.
 
the first did suffer from some degree of predictability given the range of moves each character could equip, (which would usually be the same ones) though it theoretically allowed for some customization.

As to cloud... his uber amano costume is odd, given that tifa is in ff7 atire, to the tee, none of the amano references ( i was kind of hoping for a new design, or bringing back her red skirt)

He does look a little bit...gay.

I say Miss Cloud would have been better.

That's been the case ever since the Compilation began.

Current fashions in Japan favour effeminacy, so it's no surprise that they've taken all the testosterone out of the male characters.

All we can hope for is they have more then 2 costumes per character, and at least one of cloud's isn't gay besides the AC one which i don't care for anyway.
 
Each character has 3 costumes. The 3rd one is supposed to make the character "unrecognisable"

Cloud and Lightning have 4, because of the dlc.
 
I agree on the cloud costume: Does not match, looks not as well as the original.

Originality is always best (IMO), maybe that's why they changed it; try something new perhaps.

Geez, I wonder how his alternative costume looks like.  ::)
 
All i can say is if they don't have his original costume and we have to used that crap, they better not make the AC outfit the better one - that would just piss me off. I liked his original outfit in the first one.

They still have the original outfit, it's the default one. Second one is most likely AC costume, 3rd is...that thing, and 4th is KH.

You think they'll add Tifa's CC outfit? I mean, what alternatives could they possibly add besides AC and original?
 
I would personally choose Ashe because she was the real main character of FFXII.  The other characters only had what I would call side stories.

couldn't resist, the fanservice in ff12 was pretty blatant.
