DoC Vincent retexture project

I don't know. That was an issue I came accross on the FF wiki.
There's one or two continuity errors in FFVII regarding Vincent.
When you first enter the Shinra mansion, you find a letter written by Hojo, saying that he put Vincent to sleep in a coffin; yet Vincent claims that he chose to sleep there himself.
You meet Vincent in FFVII Before Crisis which takes place about 6 years before the main story of VII; and he's wearing his red cloak.
One can make many assumptions.

My personal theory is that Vincent was put to sleep in the Coffin by Hojo, he then woke up a short while later and struggled with his body and mind. Perhaps he donned the red cloak and headband feeling that it suited his bestial form more. THEN he got into the coffin and decided that it was his punishment to sleep in an eternal nightmare.

EDIT: Also, I fixed my problem. No worries. ¦D

Nice, but I think the rips in the cloak look a bit noisy. I also think his feet look a tad too large for his body (though this could just be his pose). I think this is the right direction, though.
 
Legs should be higher i guess. Thats the only prob i see.
Shoes are right sized:

So, Just out of interest, would anyone actually consider using this model/texture?

If I were you I'd release it regardless (if it's 100% legal). Even if a majority of people did not like your work (not saying they wouldn't) it's worth letting even one person get to use it.

I think way too many projects end up dead and abandoned because their work isn't released when they quit. Even if it's not up to some standard or if it's incomplete I'd say it's still better to release if someone else can continue it in the future or get some use out of it.
 
seen as i dont really come on the site much any more as ive pretty much abandoned ff7 mod project due to kimera not letting me texture any models and seen as its mentioned above here my mirror to wende acc mod enjoy link removed

Aaaaah shoot. I thought what I was doing looked wrong. I've textured his entire lower leg golden like his boots. XD
Also it looks like I need to make it less gold and more coppery. Brassy almost.
Now fixing.
 
nice work cant wait for it to be finished and hopefully put in the next bootleg

As it's been seven months without a status update, I'm going to assume this project is abandoned and lock the thread. Zackwell is welcome to PM me or another staff member and ask for it to be unlocked, if he ever comes back to it. ~Covarr
