ff7betap1 would not install untill I did what you suggested, then it did install but the movie's still dont play :x
 
And all your codecs are THE ORIGINALS that come with the game?
 
Try uninstalling them, athen re installing FF7...It may be you have newer versions of the codec, and it's messing about with the old ones.
 
I dont really want to re-install all of it can you just tell me which ones I need so I can just see if im missing anything?
 
atm, All I can remember is the Duck Tru-Motion codec is the video one, so perhaps you need to remove it and replace it with the one on the install disc.
 
Got it, that, I belive has something to do with the upside down patch does it not?  :-?

Relf, what are your system specs?

I want to compare we might find out whats wrong lol

Mainbord: Asus P4C800-E D
P4: 3.2 Ghz
RAM: 512
Video Card: FX 5700

and last: Windows XP Pro SP1
 
I remember there being a link on another thread...of someone having the same problem....of the movies not working.....and the link he left worked, for him.... Couldn't have been that long ago, but I have no idea what thread it was. I think it was in the tweak forum.
