E3 2014 is just around the bend, and it looks like this year is gonna be a big one. Y'all got any hopes or predictions? What do you think will be announced?

My predictions:

  • SEGA announces Sonic & All-Stars Racing 3, featuring even more product placement characters and even fewer SEGA characters. Segata Sanshiro still notably absent.
  • Grand Theft Auto V finally announced for PC, scheduled for a holiday 2016 release (until it gets delayed).
  • The Wii Vitality Sensor makes a return, this time for the Wii U. Once again, Nintendo will go completely silent about it for an extended period of time and then cancel it.
  • First footage shown of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It's just battle footage and it looks identical to a battle between the same gen-3 Pokémon in X and Y.
  • Sony announces PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Melee. It's still not as good as that one other party fighting franchise.
  • In an attempt to get in on the party fighting action, Microsoft announces a partnership with Bandai Namco for their own exclusive entry into the genre, Digimon Rumble Arena 3, featuring a wide selection of Digimon, in addition to fan-favorite crossover characters such as Master Chief and Marcus Fenix.
  • Konami reveals that they never had any plans to do anything with Hudson's IPs, and the only reason for the purchase is because they needed to get rid of some money quick.
  • Square-Enix shows trailers for Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III, both behind closed doors, but it's okay because they're just footage that we've already seen edited to show in a different order, with some narration.
  • Square-Enix announces a from-the-ground-up remake of Final Fantasy Mystic Quest for PS4 and Xb1, with all new 3D graphics, voice acting, etc. for the sole purpose of trolling Final Fantasy VII fans.
  • Nintendo: "Retro Studios is working on a project, and we aren't ready to reveal it yet."
  • Another 10 minute long trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, carefully designed to show as many returning voice actors from the franchise as they can, further emphasizing as passive-aggressively as possible that David Hayter isn't in the game.
  • Resident Evil 7 is revealed, heralded as a "return to form for the franchise", with a trailer showing stunning footage of cutscenes and QTEs.
  • Destiny is completely absent, confusing absolutely everyone.
  • 3D Realms attempts to announce a new Duke Nukem game. Hilarity ensues.

On a more serious note.

I will say that I wouldn't be surprised if Xbox One and Ps4 versions of GTA5 turn up along side the PC version, at the very least info on the next game from R*, they just extended the trademark for Agent so that may well be what gets shown.

Actual new footage of the Battlefield Hardline, since the leaked footage is 6+ months old and still code named Omaha.

New Castlevania maybe.

Tekken X Street Fighter will either be teased at E3 or at EVO2014 a few weeks later.

Halo 5 footage is a sure thing along with details on the Halo HD collection for XBOne.

Last of Us sequel, won't go down too well though.

More info on Lego Justice League 3 (because Lego Batman 2 was 50% Justice League)

id will possibly show the next DOOM.

Kojima may tease Metal Gear Online 2 along side a new MGS5 trailer.

Microsoft announces their new system, XBox Graham's Number. They also announce some of its release titles, including Halo 5, Halo 5 mission pack 1, Halo 5 mission pack 2, and Just Dance Kinect: Halo Edition.

Square-Enix announces that FFXV will be a fantasy based on reality, except most realities have normal looking humans with normal looking hair. They will then show a "tech demo" remake of final fantasies 7, 8, and 9 in super HD for no reason.

EA will release its newest game before it's done, and nobody will be able to play it because it CTD every time you get past the loading screen.

EA Sports will announce that it's re-releasing all of its sports titles but changing the year on the cover of the box so people think they're new games.

Nintendo will show off something cool about Smash 4, then disappoint everyone by showing off something stupid about Smash 4.

Steam present their new concept of a gaming console/PC. The clue, it has the same online service Microsoft has tried to introduce with the XBox One, but now everyone is happy with it.

The Last Guardian will make a showing with a few new screenshots and how Team ICO is "working hard on it".

Half-Life 3 will be asked about, but not answered.

Majora's Mask remake for 3DS/Wii U.

Kinect2 will be demoed, but fail horribly and be the joke of the conv.

Square Enix announces a Final Fantasy VII Remake using all modifications made from this website, followed by an abrupt cease and desist letter sent to the admins.

What was E3 agai-
Just kidding, I know it's this pointless hype generating turdball convention that's a giant money sink for big companies, money that would be much better used employing more people and not letting valuable franchises and IPs rot.

My prediction: It'll be big.
As always.
A big turd.

AC Unity and Far Cry 4 and maybe "The crew" so far from Ubisoft for me...

Of course Witcher 3 and Dragon Age Inquisition.

I've been eagerly awaiting The Crew for some time now. They didn't even need to show anything new; just that level of openness is enough for me.

Exactly what new gen gaming stands for for me! Open world environments, a vast series of quests and activities and multiplayer features.

Dying Light gameplay right now http://www.twitch.tv/

I forgot to mention Tomb Raider! I'm so excited about the next release!

Also where is Morpheus and Rift?

And why Aisha (Ubisoft) was acting so weird?

I'm buying a ps4 for Grim Fandango remake only!
