Hi guys !

I have a question : Is it possible to use and config a wiimote for playing FF VII and VIII ? I ask because my PS2/PC Controler've any littles problemes ahah ! (So, I use a wiimote for Dolphin Emu and PCSX2 Emu)

Thanks for yours answers =)

A Wiimote has a D-Pad and 7 buttons. A PSX controller (non-Dualshock) has a D-Pad and 10 buttons. So no, a Wiimote does not have enough.

But if you have a classic controller, you could always use GlovePIE. I've had good results with it. Use this script I wrote in 2010:

Code: [Select]
Code:
// Final Fantasy VII script, by CovarrNumPad8 = Classic.UpNumPad2 = Classic.DownNumPad4 = Classic.LeftNumPad6 = Classic.RightNumPadEnter = Classic.aNumPadPlus = Classic.xNumPad0 = Classic.bNumPadDot = Classic.yNumPad9 = Classic.LNumPad3 = Classic.RNumPad7 = Classic.ZLNumPad1 = Classic.ZRNumPad5 = Classic.StartNumPadMinus = Classic.SelectCtrl + Q = Classic.Home

thanks for yours answers. ^^

So, I think I'll use a Xbox360 gamepad ! ^^

Covarr => Thanks !

The best way to play is, obviously,  the PS3 pad. Gives you that nice PSX feeling. :)
