FF7 black screen

Hi All,

I just installed FF7 (the olddd version) on my computer today and have copy-pasted both Patch 1.02 as well as Aali's Custom Driver- OpenGL-0.8.1b into the installation folder. I followed the steps to setup the custom driver.

Currently when I run the Ff7.exe on administrator rights, I am able to get to the New Game page but it stays as a blank screen after i selected new game.

I thought it was an issue with the truemotion codec on ffdshow that prevented the starting video from playing so i've gone ahead to disable that.

I am using ATI HD Radeon 4800 Series.

If Aalis driver works, even the old movies should work (movie_plugin).
With the K-Lite Codec Pack 10.4.3 the movies work without Aalis driver.
