FF7 enhanced Backgrounds

To summary all things 'bout this, post all what could help to enhance the (not very good lokkin'...:weep: ) backgrounds of FF7.

Do our admins and programmers know any way how this would work?
 
I am sure if you tried to "Search" you will probably already know that it isnt possible to touch the backgrounds simply because they are packed into the field files in little 16x16 (or was it 8x8) sqaures and have stupid transpancy palletes and so on.
 
yeah, what skillster said.  We'd need to code a new engine to take advantage of enhanced backgrounds; short of that, someone wuld have to do a SHIIIAATload of work editing every individual 16x16 square

So, it's not 100% impossible, but good luck finding a workhorse who's willing to do that.
 
give the workhorse some hot pockets and money and hell proly do it
