Having this issue

Its ok sorted it found files on Primary drive and deleted them

Is it possible to have both 7H install running, AND  Team Avalanche Gallery new scenes working together ?
I think not, cause 7H will override all textures, but I prefer ask anyway :)
 
Create a folder in 7H mods and another one inside with the name 'Textures' there you can place the files like you would do it as in Aali's mod folder.
It will be then in your library where you can activate it.

I really should make this damn tutorial...
 
Thanks Kaldarasha. But I maybe missed something, it doesn't appear on my library in 7H

So I created in : ff7_install_path\mods\7th Heaven a folder called Textures, and an other in it.
In that Textures folder, I pasted, for example, all the team avalanche spell effects, in PNG format.

in the 7H GUI, I imported from that folder and created the .iro, and activated it.

But I don't see any visual changes, for example that spell effects..
Does I need to put him in the first load orders ?

No, you have to create first a folder <- this is the mod project folder if you want so. 
Then make a folder in it which is called textures <- that's actually the name which Aali's driver should use for the mod path.
In that you can place all files as you would do in mods\bootleg.
After that open 7H's library and click on search (you dont need to make an iro oft it yet) .
If have found your mod on the list enable it. It is possible that it is already active then you only need place it on top oft your load order.

I am interested in this too.

I am trying to make own iro for Field Textures as the one provided is 6GB but the one from the one from https://www.ff7catalog.com/threads/8174/ is only 3GB

Is it like
1) make a new folder (maybe Field Textures)
2) within that folder, create another folder named Textures
3) put all files from other mod into Textures
4) use 7TH Heaven to import folder
5) create iro

That is because there are two different mods for that category. One from Omzy and the other from yarLson. They are PNG format, so their file size is already as compressed as it will get. Sorry, but there's no getting around the sheer amount of field textures involved in this game. They will always have large size downloads.
 
I'm glad you figured it out on your own. It's not that I don't want to help, but I'm limited on my time until the school year ends, so helping everyone individually is something I can't do. We try to make FAQs and guides for as much as we can, but then it's up to the users to fiddle around with it and learn new things themselves :)
 
Hello,

I followed the guide exactly as it was written but I cannot figure out why when I click "Check Subscriptions Now" nothing happens. I have added 7thHeaven to my firewall, disabled my anti-virus, set the program to run as an administrator. No clue what I did wrong, or what I should try next.

SOLVED: I went to the Catalog section and clicked search. Stuff showed up then!

I have 2 questions

1 - Is it possible to RESUME downloading any of the mod packs?
I'm curious as I think the field texture packs did not download all the way, yet 7Th Heaven is stating the mods are installed and active. Everything else works but the field textures. 7Th Heaven crashed on me while downloading and I don't think it finished.

2 - When using the Menu Overhaul the text is squished together. If I deactivate it, it displays properly.
Actually I believe the reason for squished text is the ff7th heaven Ogl version. The version included in the bootleg displays the menu overhaul like it should be, the one included in the 7th Heaven (FF7_OpenGL-0.8.1b) is causing the issue. The Bootleg included version (FF7_OpenGL-0.7.11b+) works right. Some reason at randome times launching the game shows up empty graphics and I get log errors in the game not being able to load something.

Also a bug I think with using mouse scroll button; sometimes it wont work but if you select a different tab then back again the scrolling continues to work. I did some more searching the thread and found that I wasn't using the ff7 conversion for the 7th heaven but the for the bootleg.

So now I think everything is working. I'm using 7.11b+ and the mods are working now even the textures. The only error I got so far was a "GLITCH:Missed palette write to external texture field/mrkt2/mrkt2_15" while wallmarket loaded.

I have a very simple question.

It seems like Tifa's Final Heaven mod only has new threat (NT) 1.2, instead of the newer 1.3 version.  Is there any way to change that, if so how?

i have a question regarding the music and such. on the mod it said there were audio samples here in the forums? where can i find those audio samples so i can hear the different variations of the music.
 
Any chance Alyza to put the Beacause retranslation in the 7H catalog on day ?
 
Yes, ReTranslation will be added. I have just a couple more weeks until the kids are out of school, then I'll be on summer break until September. Expect a lot more frequent updates this summer :)
 
man that would be soo awesome.

I think the next priority after that would be 60fps battles, its part of the same installer i think so maybe that might make things easier, but i guess you have your own priority list.
 
Sorry if this is the incorrect place to put this question.  When I set up FF7 with Final Heaven originally I set it to my Video Cards HDMI Audio Out.  How can I change the audio out to a different sound card though? I do alternate between two different audio outputs fairly often, so any help would be appreciated.  Thank you so much.
 
i'm getting this error message when i try to open the 7th heaven exe. I've ran it once before with no problems. Many screens popped up and i continuously closed them out because i didn't know what's going on. Any ideas?
