Been awake the whole Night to get 7H to work with New Threat. Now my only problem is the Menu Overhaul.
When I install it via 7H i get graphical glitches (see pictures below) and when I manualy install it I can't start the game. Is there another way to make the menus easier on the eyes?  ;D



It's also brighter than without the overhaul.

the problem is to do with syncing, did manage to get round it myself and get it working.

you need to do a fresh install, then new threat, then 7H game converter, then Reunion and only the MO part, sega chief suggest using without the 9999 limit break.

Finally add "mods\Reunion" to the extra folders bit and you should be good to go

However the movies will want to load from the CD only, to make them load from the movies folder and have it to be as perfect as possible you then need to do the following

Create a back up of you final fantasy folder, then you need to install 7H game converter again to the non back, finally change your back up to be the main and the main to a back up or delete  and you should be good to go, worked for me :)

mhhh, i had used the stand alone Menu Overhaul that came with Tifa's Pack because i wasn't able to find a Download for Reunion in the official Thread. If someone could link me to the Reunion Installer, that would be much appreciated :)

It works alright so far, but wasn't the command Box to be different, with better organized spells? Thank you for the great help so far.

unfortunately this is the best we can get without totally messing and breaking the way 7H works.

anything else causes a desync totally messing up the game :(
 
oh, i see. At least everything else seems to work just fine now.

Then I guess I can finally stop modding and start playing NT :D
 
yup, you may notice a couple of bugs here and there but for the most part it is totally.

If you do notice any bugs though please note them down as im compiling a list for Sega Chief
 
I should mention that it should go without the 9999 limit break, but it should be fine either way; player and enemy attacks won't really approach that cap (with the exception of fixed formula attacks like Everyone's Grudge).

By the by, thanks for helping out here RedManMark; I didn't notice that the last few posts here were related to NT.
 
That was actually meant to say without, but i was moving the text around and only copied the with bit hahaha

NT is not required to install before using 7H. I haven't updated the catalog to the latest NT mod yet. I have all the files ready but super busy IRL to get it live. Once I do, it'll be posted. You also must use the Game Converter 7H Version from Step 1, which goes without saying, but sometime folks skip it for whatever reasons.  Try checking your OpenGL driver configuration -> Textures Cache unchecked, Texture Memory 768/1024 to work with those glitchy textures.

any idea why aeris weapon is white? its from battle models - weapons and mike + slayersnext mod, i already did fresh reinstall of everything, cleaned registries but its still the same.

oh sorry for that, didnt know the mod orders affects the game :)

so this order first?

Miscellaneous - Red Werewolf
Miscellaneous - CHaOS (Character Overhaul Seven)
Gameplay - Difficulty and Story
Battle Models - Weapons

then the rest is any order?
 
it fixes now the white weapon issue but it doesnt load the mod weapon for aeris and yuffie, only for cloud is loaded :(

Where should I place "Field Models - Characters, Enemies and Objects"

On the priority list.
I cannot get it running.

I'm using
Chaos
Battle Models - Weapons
Field Models - Characters, Enemies and Objects
Battle Models - Characters
Battle Models Enemies
Battle Textures
Field Textures
Spell Textures
World Textures
Animations
Minigames - Chocobo Race
Media - Music and Sound

in that order currently, but I cannot get "Field Models - Characters, Enemies and Objects" to work ( No Materia Edits, Save Edit, Potion Edits are working, I'm assuming the field models are cause they look fine. )

EDIT: Fixed.

Okay, so just to clarify. If mods simply refuse to download and do NOT give an error (they simply stay at 0% permanently), is that still just Google Drive being a butt?

Also, is Red Werewolf's configuration supposed to look LITERALLY identical to Gameplay - Difficulty and Story?
