FF7 - No sound effects

In the chocobo conf. the sound plays fine
However in game I only hear music :-?
I have a onboard creative soundcard

hmm.. well if you've downloaded FF7 then I know one version doesn't have sound effects or movies, if you've got the CD, maybe a full reinstall would work?

This is why we don't support DLed versions.  There's nothing we can do for ya if you have a shitted-up version =)

no i've got a legal version but I managed to fix it now, full reinstall of my codecs worked
