I just upgraded from Win98 to WinXP. I saved my games in the upgrade, but now when I try to restore them FF7 says they're invalid.
I am running WinXP natively, but I also have Win98 on Virtual PC, and have FF7 installed on both. Originally I thought it was a problem with the file conversions, ([EDIT] the conversion from FAT32 to NTFS [/EDIT]) but then I tried on Win98 and still got the same error.
I was pretty far in my game (~ half way through second disc) so I don't want to loose my progress.
I've been here once before with a problem and you guys helped me out really quickly. But last time it was an easy technical problem, so I hope that someone might have some insight this time.
