FF7 save error

hi

I have some problems with my ff7 on the pc. my FF7 doenst make any save folder. If i put an existing save folder into the ff7 directory, the game doesnt  read it. the continue menu keeps grey...

 It look like its want to save the game on the cd or a place that it cant write too.

does anyone know how to fix this problem.

any help would be welcome

1. What OS are you using?
2. This is a legit copy of FF7, right?
3. Please make sure your FF7 folder is not marked Read Only.

The post below is correct, the "Continue" option will not be available until you have actually saved once.

When you fist install, it doesnt create a save folder.  You have to save a game first before it does so.

Try making a save folder, then DLing a save file.  See what happens then.

ok i fixed the problem

when i reinstalled the game could save and load again
