Hi all, I wanted to ask a question: is possible to increase the game speed?
I use the PSX version

If you're using an emulator, you could use the built-in speedup feature.

Of course, but I have not explained well. I want the game go a little faster on psx (machine, not an emulator). Is it possible to speed up editing the config file?

Don't think there is any such 'config file' for the playstation version.  And depending on what your PS1 setup is, how would you play a modded VII on your machine?  If you could speed it up tho, the Time Counter might also speed up.

When you open the final fantasy 7 iso, you find a file called system.cnf, this file sets  the speed of the game. It possible modify this file?

Yes you can speed up the PSX Game

Using the method below, most PAL games when converted to NTSC, using the method below, experience a 10 to 15 fps speed increase.  I used to use this method for PSX images for the xbox1 console playstation emulator pcsxbox for the xbox.  I also used this method for one or two games for the psp's build in psx emulator, under the cfw (custom firmware 5.00m33-3).

1. Open pal4u2k.exe, now select the .bin/image file, select "pal to ntsc" and click "find seqs", you will have a .p4u file created.

2. Open p4upatch.exe,  and patch your .bin/image file with the .p4u file you created.

3. Open zapper2k.exe, select "pal to ntsc", after the scan is complete, save the patch, then apply the patch.

4. Works on a good number of pal games, when converted to ntsc using this method, it works for ff7 and ff8, on the PSX, I believe it does for ff9 too, but I haven't done this in a while, this is tried and tested.............
