For purposes of those of you who cannot access my server, I'll place them temporarily on mirex's server for a week's time. Then you're on your own.

Well, as it turns out mirex's trashbin times out when I upload the one-armed angel song, so forget that plan. But the new link for the new icons is there, so you can at least get that. AFAIK you're the only one that has problems with my server. Does it have anything to do with a firewall? Corrupt ISP?

Rubicant: https://www.dyndns.org/services/dyndns/clients.html
Here are some apps that can update your dyndns account if your IP address changes.  I don't know how well they'll work with your network setup, but it might be worth a try if the IP changing bothers you...

As for people not being able to access your server, I would think its an ISP problem at one end or the other.  Srethron, if you try to ping Rubicant's server, do you get the IP address (currently 209.112.208.163)?  If you don't, it might be a problem with your ISP's DNS server.  If its a problem with dyndns itself, you shouldn't be able to access my site (aaronserv.dyndns.org) or see my avatar.  I can access Rubicant's server fine, so I don't think its a problem on his end.

Rubicant: Thanks, got the icons. Chances are it's the corporate firewall ("corrupt" alright.) It's the best thing I can think of. The only other thing I can think of is if you're running on a non-standard port. I tend to have trouble with that.

Aaron: It's probably a problem on my end. I do get Rubicant's IP when I ping him (but get 100% packet loss.) I've always been able to access your site/load your avatar, and dyndns.org itself loads just fine for me. I can provide ping and/or HTTP traffic logs, but I don't think they will help.

Pfft...I'll change my server to apache...maybe that'll help you out.

What was I using? something...else...  8)

Srethron, are you able to access the server on other internet connections? Mirex suggested it could be some weird browser error, or else it's just that current connection you are on. But my server has been changed to apache. But I'm pretty sure it is in vain.

We'll see.

well i must say the game runs in best gfx i've EVER pleyed it in.

with the quincux bla bla it runs crappy but with 2 x 2 its runs pretty nice :)

haven't tried 32 bit stuff fice's site is down and can't fice's .dll :)

If you enable 8bit paletted textures support with Riva Tuner, you should choose "2 x 2" AA.

But QAA is usefull if you disable 8bit paletted textures support with Riva Tuner.

This is probably a daft question but... it doesn't look like those screenshots have been resized (looking at, say, the antialiasing compared to the background). If not, how did you force the 1024 x 768 resolution? I had thought this wasn't possible by reading some of the posts here. :)

That looks pretty good, halohalo.

Synergy blades: if you hadn't known, pete's opengl plugin is a psx emulation graphics plug-in. So those are screenshots of the PSX version. You can select very high resolutions in the psx version, and not in the PC version.

Ye-Roon: How are the fonts bad? I think they look a little weird because of the jpeg compression. And the fact that it's in japanese...

Rubicant: Gee, thanks for going out of your way, trying to help me with this. Well, switching to Apache did *something.* Now I can access http://kucoru.dyndns.org/, but all of your media files (images/downloads) still time out (although I get valid HTTP traffic from your server now--it's obviously *trying* to give them to me.)

Here's a log of what happens when I access your main page. Green is me, Red is the server.

Now, the problem is right here. Your server sends the image back to me, but for some reason it doesn't ever display. Something unknown is preventing me from accepting the response from your server. I think. So yeah, back to square one (as opposed to Squaresoft...) Looks like it's my problem.
In few days, my 28K line will be back up (it's being fixed right now.) I never use it, except when I absolutely have to (makes the phone bill go way up), but I can try accessing your site with it in a few days.
Interestingly, I tried my cellphone and *it* worked. Too bad it doesn't have download capabilities. =P

Haha that PM I just sent you was for nothing. Nevermind that...

That's pretty crappy how you can't access it.

By the way, the only reason why you can "access it" is because you can visit the main page. But that main page wasn't always there. Before, I used to have it just an index of all the files. Ever since I added on apache it wouldn't let me use hidden files (I haven't figured out how) and have them not be displayed with the indexing, so I switched to just having index.html so no one would be creeping around my server.

Yeah, guess I'm an "access of evil" or something.

...and I'm sure you know, but if you don't want people crawling your server, an index.html isn't going to be enough. That just stops the script kiddies.

well i mean that the fonts are pointy and spiky bot nicely rounded.

not the fact that its japanese, tho i wished i could read it :)
