ff7music... again....

Ok, i installed FFVII, patched, installed cetra, ff7music. All ok. Mp3 in place...

Then i want to play. I mute the midi. Start the game.... and no music is played.... Whats wrong? No error so far. ff7music  information is ok. Whats wrong?

WinXp. Any idea?

Well, i think cetra doesnt patch Xp patch.

I tried now with 1.2 patch, aplying windowed screen (so, i hope help those windows crash).

When i click on ff7.exe, a small black windows appears, then nothing. I check log file and the last line says:

Failed to load: C:\Archivos de programa\Square Soft, Inc.\Final Fantasy VII\Data\menu/menu_us.lgp


Ok, my spanish FF comes with menu_sp.lgp. I renamed this file to menu_us, but doesnt work.

Also: Failed to load: C:\Archivos de programa\Square Soft, Inc.\Final Fantasy VII\Data\field/flevel.lgp

Edit: Well, now it works!!! With mp3!!! Cool! BUT, menus are now in english. So... could be possible to change that? I mean, to make a version compatible with spanish version?

FF7Music is not supposed to work with anything besides the English 1.02 FF7.exe.

Well, it works. The command is english menu, but all is the same. Only renaming some files make the game work with mp3. Bye bye all those disgustin midis...
