FF7Music is slow, Cloud has Masamune in overworld, and TIFA'S MODEL IS BROKEN

Me again. I'm sure I installed everything right this time, but I'm still getting three errors. Well, the first probably isn't an error, but more a nuisance that can't be avoided since I have a sh*t tier PC. FF7Music tends to be pretty slow. For example, I'll win a battle, and then the Fanfare won't load up for a few seconds. It's worth noting that I use all PSFs, but this problem was persistent with just using mp3s as well. Again, though, my processor is only about 2.4Ghz (single core, of course) so that's more than likely my fault. Another thing; Cloud equips the Masamune on the overworld. Not when overtop of a prerendered background, but just when he's on the overworld map. It's weird that that's the only place that happens. Not a big deal, though. But what is a big deal is Tifa's battle model; it's completely borked. I set PRP Classic for all field models except Cloud (Bloodshot swordless), but I used the newer, upgraded stuff for the battle models. You can see what all I used in APP.LOG (...I think), but the point is that I chose Grimmy's AC Tifa for her battle model. Now, not only is it not displaying hi-poly goodness from Grimmy, but the face is completely borked!

I guess it wouldn't be too bad if it just displayed the original Tifa model, but could it at least not be broken? And how could I get it to display the new one without redoing Bootleg YET AGAIN? Could I just manually install the model? In doing so, could I configure it to only display during battles?

EDIT: Sorry! Forgot to dump my APP.LOG!

The music is certainly a result of playing on a single core. Perhaps go into FF7Music.exe and adjust latency values? I don't know what much more I can offer than that.

The Cloud w/ Masamune on the World Map has been reported already and will be fixed for the next Bootleg release.

The Tifa battle model...well, it just messed up during Bootleg. It happens occasionally, but not often. Computers are just like human beings...we're all the same, yet different in our own ways. Fortunately, you can just manually install the models you want even after Bootleg is finished.

[*]Download this tool: HERE
[*]Open the tool and select Unlpg battle.lpg.
[*]Toss your model files into the new folder it generates.
[*]Open the tool again and select Rebuild battle.lpg.

I'm not familiar with the Cloud model but I've had issues with the other Grimmy models. Yuffie is apparently broken, she crashes the game the second she's on screen. Tifa will load as the PRP model for some reason, I got her to work by downloading the model directly from the post. Don't know why that made a difference but worth a try with Cloud. Try downloading it from here and rerunning bootleg.

Looks like a Bootleg issue. Thanks for your help, EQ.

No, it depends on where you downloaded the Grimmy AC Models. The ones on his moddb site are broken, but we patched them up for Bootleg040.

All I know is that I didn't use any links other than the torrent.

OH, SNAP! Sorry to double post, but the game just did something it's never done before: it actually CRASHED MID-BATTLE! My party of Cloud, Tifa, and Barret were fighting the Materia Keeper at Mt. Nibel, and after I'd depleted about 60% or so of his health, I had Barret cast Demi. As soon as he did, the game crashed!

Well looking over your APP.log again, I had misread your 6150 GPU as a 650, thinking you were fine. But in fact, it doesn't support enough vRAM to play a stable game. You need at least 512MB. Couple that with a single-core processor (which we never test on), and there are bound to be memory leak crashes and freezes throughout game play.

I knew what I had sucked, but I didn't know it was that bad. Ah, well. I'll probably end up getting a new comp in about half a year.
