FF7Music

Been playing for a few days it was all fine and dandy.

Unfortunately I made the mistake of installing AVG and MSE together creating a whirlpool of system crashes. Anyway, to cut a long story short I had to perform a system restore to 2 days ago.

FF7 now plays fine and all other modifications are working smoothly apart from FF7Music.

Here is where it gets weird for me as I have searched the web high and low and the error I'm receiving from FF7Music.exe and its log file have only been seen in a League of Legends replay client. Which confuses me as it seems to be attempting to access the internet.

Any ideas on how to fix this or why FF7Music would be throwing up IP addresses?

That's really weird. My installer creates a launcher that does a bit of internet access (even then, only the latest version does), but nothing that would show up in ff7music's log.

Have you tried reinstalling ff7music? It's possible a file was corrupted at some point.

Ive uninstalled it and reinstalled it several times in an attempt to make it work, but the exact same error keeps occurring.

I could understand if it was the entirety of ff7 that was failing as I would have chalked that up simply to the recovery, however its just FF7music.

In fact I'm playing right now and its pretty eerie playing with no music and just sound effects.

Did another two separate re-installs of ff7 including bootleg, still the same problem. Then ran another bootleg install over the previous with the same options in an attempt to possibly repair any files.
